Cortina d’Ampezzo, the site for the 1956 and the 2026 Winter Olympics, and its surrounds offer a wonderful conference location for networking and team-building activities. Cross-country skiing starts at Fiames, where a special track made on the old railway line, takes you almost to the Austrian border. For non-skiers there is equally a plethora of activities. The ski bus will take you to various cable cars where you can travel to the top of the Dolomites for lunch. You can shop and lunch in down- town Cortina or dine at the many easily accessible trattoria’s on the snow, go for a horse and sleigh ride, ice skate in the former Olympic stadium, participate in a guided snow walk, watch an ice hockey game and take in the arts and crafts of the main street. Alternatively, you can just relax in the wonderful alpine, snow-drenched ambience that is Cortina.
